Purpose of the Role

  • To provide guidance to the Organizational Development Specialists and to support the Human Resources Director to achieve organization-wide strategic HR objectives
  • To oversee the day-to-day operations of organizational development projects, aligned to overall HR Strategy. Acting as a facilitator of change the role will work closely with the Chief HR Officer, HR Director, and other members of the Human Resources Team, to ensure organizational effectiveness.

Role Accountabilities 

Performance Management

  • Lead the end-to-end process for Ooredoo Myanmar’s Employee Performance Management (EPM)
  • Liaise with relevant senior executives on employee performance ratings, calibrations and related matters
  • Analyze employee performance data and present in suitable format for distribution to senior executives and Ooredoo Group Board
  • Educate various stakeholders on the Employee Performance Management process, including design and delivery of information and training sessions

Talent Review

  • Conduct internal Talent Assessment by using Ooredoo Myanmar’s competency framework across organization and organize Talent Review Calibration workshops with different stakeholders including Senior Management to identify Top Talent in organization
  • Create talent card for individual employees and monitor People Managers have 1:1 performance/talent discussion with employees for their development
  • Support Human Resources Director in terms of data preparation for level 1 & level 2 Talent review and calibration workshop by coordinating with Ooredoo Group

Succession Planning

  • Work closely with Human Resources Director for implementation of phased-approach Ooredoo Myanmar’s Succession Planning
  • Influence stakeholders to adopt succession planning
  • Facilitate various stakeholders with the process of talent identification and development
  • Provide high level administrative support on succession planning tools

OD Interventions and Change Management

  • Lead OD interventions to ensure effective organizational practices
  • Conduct Job Evaluation against all unique positions in the organization to determine the value of different jobs by using Mercer’s tool
  • Facilitate organizational change activities in line with managing changes in response to organization and market needs

Employee Engagement

  • Coordinate with third party vendor and deploy employee engagement survey across organization
  • Debrief survey result to Senior Management and work together with Business leaders to cascade the result to all employees
  • Develop action plans by identifying areas to improve based on the survey result and monitor the progress

HR Strategy

  • Involve in implementation of HR Strategies that align with Ooredoo Myanmar’s Mission, Vision, Values and Strategies

Job Requirements

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

  • 5-7 years’ experience in HR; including organizational development experience, preferable
  • Understanding of HR processes and systems, Demonstrated experience in strategic HR projects
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and procedures and deep knowledge in General HR Management 
  • Advance Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good ability to analyse and interpret data, Strong project management skills
  • Good English proficiency
  • Understanding of the telecom industry (Preferred)
  • Bachelor Degree in HR or Business Management
  • Internationally recognized Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources (preferred)
  • Certificate or Diploma in Applied Psychology (preferred)
